Jordan x WK Interact for “Nightmares Never Sleep”

Jordan brand unveils newest addition to “Nightmares Never Sleep” campaign.  Famous street artist ,WK Interact, heads down to Manhattan’s lower east side to actually paint the billboard featuring Dwayne Wade.  Check out the process in the video below.  Really awesome stuff.

And if you haven’t seen the full TV spot yet for Nightmares Never Sleep, check it out.  Pretty over the top…but aren’t all nightmares?

UAC Does Lebron James + Nike

What can you say about Lebron James?  I’m assuming quite a bit…and if there’s any point you didn’t cover, Skip Bayless could probably fill in the cracks.

Too young, too selfish, too lazy, too 23??  Lebron’s out to prove you wrong in 2010.

A little somethin’ I cooked up between my other projects.  I’ve got love for Cleveland all day… up until they face Detroit in late April.

Clever Print Ad Round-Up

Genuinely funny or clever advertisements are hard to find these days.  Especially in print.  In comparison to it’s cousins (commercials, billboards, radio, etc); print ads are projected to be dying off.  Advertisers are lucky to get a reader to actually look at their ad, let alone read it.  With this obstacle in mind, I’ve collected a few print ads that keep the reader in mind… captivating visuals, sharp headlines/taglines, and a creative approach.  Enjoy! A lot goes into TV spots.  Perhaps more than I’m even aware of.  How do developers approach all those small details?  Here’s an interesting video breaking down the soundtrack development for Under Armour’s Cold Gear product line.  Talk about resourceful!

The official broadcast spot is impressive as well, featuring World Cup skier, Lindsey Vonn.

Hipster Evolution

I had to do it.  This post comes straight from Paste Magazine’s Evolution of the Hipster spread.  The article and photographs are very well done and are worth a look.  Beards, tight jeans, mopeds, wrist ink, and your iPod addiction has never received such flattery.
