Couldn’t you just play with that all day?  Graffiti Analysis is an extensive ongoing study in the motion of graffiti. I’m not sure how it all works, but software was created to capture unseen gestures involved in the creation of the users tag. Read all about it here!

You’ve hopefully seen a few of these stop-motion animation videos before, but if you haven’t–step your game up: MUTO and COMBO.

This latest masterpiece from the talented folks over at BLU, is absolutely incredible. I would advise everyone to set aside 10 minutes for this one, you won’t be disappointed

…Big Bang Big Boom is an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life … and how it could probably end.

The Perfect Color

Posted in Artwork, Graphic Design, Photography, Print, Products, UAC Updates with tags , , , , , , , , , , on May 20, 2010 by bendey14

I’ve been slaving over a ton of projects this week and am currently running on half a plate of pad thai and 4 Oberon’s, so this will be a short update.

I’ve been keeping this gig under wraps for a while because of the uncertainty behind the project, but looks like I’ve landed a page in a special creative book based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

I’m pretty stoked about it, especially because I’ll be featured among some really talented people/studios/agencies.

Ya’ll should see an update on this very soon…

…nah, screw it, I’m exhausted–here’s my page.  I’ll just explain it all later 🙂

So I caught wind of this on Fubiz today, thought is was such a neat idea!  The Vader Project is an exhibition showcasing the work from a wide array of popular artists and their allegiance to the dark side. Check out a handful of pics and the complete artist list after the jump. Some of these are just insane.

Shepard Fairey – MAYDAY

Posted in Artwork, Print with tags , , , , , , , , on April 26, 2010 by bendey14

Looks like Shepard Fairey is up to his old tricks again.  And when I say “tricks,” I mean pure artistical brilliance.

The MAYDAY exhibit will run from May 1st to May 29th at Deitch Projects in New York and will consist of a rather large collection of new artwork.  Here’s an excerpt from Shepard Fairey originally posted at World Famous Design Junkies: “These people I’m portraying were all revolutionary, in one sense or another. They started out on the margins of culture and ended up changing the mainstream. When we celebrate big steps that were made in the past, it reminds us that big steps can be made in the future.”

Here’s a sneak peak:

AIDS Graffiti [NSFWish]

Posted in Artwork, Commercials + Virals, Creative Campaigns with tags , , , , , , , on March 22, 2010 by bendey14

The dick.

It’s a funny thing really… just hangin’ there… keepin’ it real–of course.  Always seems to end up doing it’s own thing, hah, am I right–or am I right?  The male tool of sexual awesomeness is essentially a mainstay in pop-culture comedy…

…but it’s also every man’s secret weapon of mass destruction population.  Plus, nobody thinks gonorrhea is as cool as it used to be.

I’m not sure where this ad was on the air, but I’m guessing Europe?  Maybe just a viral?  Either way, it’s still hilarious with an everyday customary setting (for public restroom veterans) that communicates a very important (ideal) decision for anyone out there gettin’ down without a crown.

Don’t be silly, protect your Willie.
